Kidney Beans Goan Style

  1.     Cut 2 onions roughly, 2 cups grated coconut, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 5 peppers,  1/2 tbsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp turmeric seeds, 3 Kashmiri chillies, 2  chillies (strong), and add to a pan and fry till golden brown. Blend in a mixer 2.       Heat a pan, add oil, and add one finely chopped onion. Add curry leaves and fry till the onion turns translucent. Add tomatoes and fry. 3.      Add the masala and fry for a few minutes,   add chopped coriander leaves .  Serve with rice, chappati

Patato Bhaji

  1.     Cut 4 medium potatoes into cubes, and remove three whistles in a cooker.  2.     In a pan, add three onions ,  one teaspoon of mustard seeds, and curry leaves, and fry the onions . 3.      Once the onions become translucent , add the potatoes and mix well. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, add salt  and mix well . Serve with rice, chapatti!

Goan Vatana Ros( Dried white peas)

  Ingredients: 250gm vatana(dried white peas ) 6 Medium size Onions 2 Medium size Tomatoes 2 Cup Grated Coconut 2 Green Chillies 2 Red Chillies Curry Leaves 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 4 tbsp coriander seeds 1/2 " Ginger 6 garlic cloves Tamarind ( Soaked in water) corriander seeds 4tbsp. cumin seeds 1tbps Soak the vatana (dried white peas) overnight in water to soften the peas, keeps aside .
